“Helping Our Children Do Well in School” parenting seminar set on Oct. 30
Sun.Star Davao, Oct. 16, 2010

What makes students excel in school?

The significant contributions parents make toward a child's success in school have long been recognized by administrators and teachers worldwide. Without a doubt, success at school begins at home.

A survey of more than 500 parents of honor students, athletes, student leaders, and students excelling in extracurricular activities, yielded 10 simple strategies for good parenting.

Learn more about the 10 Successful Strategies from the Parents’ Best Practices Study of the Ateneo De Manila High School based on the bestselling book “Helping Our Children Do Well in School” (Winner, National Book Award) by Queena Lee-Chua, Ph.D. and Maribel Dionisio, M.A.

The Davao Christian High School Parents-Teachers Fellowship will be sponsoring a free parenting seminar with guest speaker Dr. Queena N. Lee-Chua on October 30, 2010 (Saturday), 7:00 p.m. at the Davao Christian High School Auditorium.
