“New beginnings at All Flip-Flops Abreeza”
Sun.Star Davao, June 11, 2011
COU-SIS: ‘More than cousins, almost like sisters’…that’s what I describe the special relationship of two of Davao’s loveliest ladies, Marga Montemayor-Nograles and Tisha Ang-Dominguez.
For Marga, who is an only child, and Tisha, the unica hija in her family, having each other is the next best thing to having a beloved sister.
In August 2005, their company, Martish Marketing Co., Havaiana’s exclusive sub-distributor
for South East Mindanao started selling the well-loved footwear brand in Mindanao. “Martish” is creatively derived from the names of the young and dynamic cousins/entrepreneurs.
Recently, Martish Marketing Co. opened its second All Flip-Flops outlet at its brand new home at Abreeza Mall, Mindanao’s first Ayala Mall project.
All Flip-Flops had its soft opening and blessing on the inauguration day of the much-anticipated mall.
Cong. Karlo Alexei Nograles and Gov. Miguel Rene Dominguez, the supportive better halves of Marga and Tisha, led the ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the store.
Family and friends of Havaianas also graced the affair. Among those present were Doña Pat Montemayor, Mrs. Baby Montemayor, and Mr. & Mrs. Edgar and Itang Ang. Also in attendance were Bench’s Brian Lim, Starbucks’ Quito Lopez, Mia Dragon-Floirendo and For the Love of Prints’ Sarah Claudio.
“We are very thrilled with the opening of All Flip-Flops at Abreeza. This outlet is the biggest All Flip-Flops outlet so far. It will serve as our flagship store in South East Mindanao,” says Marga, Creative Director of Martish Marketing Co.
Launching the premier store is not the only milestone at this point in their lives. Marga and Tisha are both infanticipating, with Marga expecting her third baby and Tisha, her first.
Indeed, the two ‘cou-sis’ are truly blessed not only with new beginnings with this latest business venture but also in their respective family lives.
